The GovSource ISR team is
based upon a unique construct that is derived from the
U.S. Department of Defense special mission community. This
organization within a organization focuses on the rapid
evaluation of operational needs and the targeted delivery
of capability-based solutions to achieve desired outcomes.

clients' ISR needs and evaluates technology candidates

variety of engagements.
UTAMS is a ground-based acoustic sensor array that
provides accurate detection, geolocation, and
classification of direct and indirect fires at stand-off
distances. Multiple UTAMS have been deployed to forward
operating locations around the world since 2003 to provide
enhanced situational awareness for tactical forces.
PTDS
is an aerostat-based surveillance architecture that
ingests available tactical intelligence and sensor-related
data; fuses this data into a common operating picture
(COP); automatically cross-cues a high-resolution imagery
sensor payload to locations of interest for visual target
confirmation and tracking; and, disseminates video imagery
to quick reaction forces via a secure wireless
communications relay. GovSource personnel provided
analysis, engineering, and test support to the PTDS
program from concept development to materiel development
to capability validation, fielding, and theater
integration. The initial PTDS was deployed to U.S. forces
in Iraq in October 2004 and has been judged a dramatic
success by theater commanders and tactical users alike.
