Who May Qualify?
Florida EOT Pathways
Eligibility depends on your prior training, qualifying service, certification history and the Florida CJSTC requirements that apply to your background.
Experienced law enforcement or corrections officers from another state may qualify when applicable training, certification and service requirements are met.
Qualifying federal law enforcement or corrections personnel may have a Florida EOT pathway based on applicable training and full time qualifying experience.
Certain military law enforcement personnel may qualify when applicable training and service requirements are met.
Qualifying special operations personnel may have a Florida exemption pathway based on applicable service requirements.
Former Florida certified officers with a qualifying break in service may use the EOT process to return to certification.
