SkillBridge is a Department of Defense program that allows active-duty service members to transition into civilian careers during their final 180 days of service through structured training programs.

GovSource works with law enforcement agencies to support recruiting and transition pipelines for military service members.

A: Yes. Service members continue to receive their military pay and benefits during participation.

A: Programs may last up to 180 days and are structured based on transition timelines.
Q3: Is employment guaranteed?
A: No. The program is designed to prepare participants for employment opportunities, but hiring decisions are made by individual agencies.
Q4: Do I need command approval?
A: Yes. Participation must be approved through your chain of command.
